We Created mOOO to Promote Young Architects
Being an Architect was once a lot more respected by society as a role model. Only those who were gifted with both creative and practical minds could excel in this profession. Good architectural designs have to be innovative, aesthetic and practical at the same time. Today, more and more young professional architectural designers were being trained even more rigorously than ever. Though, countless creative ideas and designs go unnoticed and discarded in this new information age.
We, architectural designers, have spent so many years on academic projects. A few degree shows and portfolios should not be the only ways to showcase our creativities and abilities. It is for this reason, the mOOO team, a group of architectural designers based in the United Kingdom, created this international platform to promote young talents through hosting architecture design competitions.
Occasional crits and tutorials are far from adequate for design education. It is also our goal to provide stimulating briefs that challenge the creative minds of international designers. What we do is almost equivalent to the milking process of cows. Creativity dies if not exercised constantly.

We give credits to Design Talents
We believe all good designs deserve some credit. While it is difficult to grade and rank ideas and designs, mOOO team would select up to 36 entries (TOP 36) with outstanding creative and aesthetic designs for publications. From these 36 entries, 3 People’s Choice Awards would be given to the entries with the top 3 most votes to encourage young talents and increase recognition from supportive laymen.
Similarly, 3 Winners of our competitions would receive an equal amount of monetary prize and international recognition. In competitions with hundreds of entries, the chosen Top 3 designs are often as remarkable as one another. We believe it is only fair way to award our winners. This would also mean designers have a higher chance of becoming a winner in our competitions, gaining global recognition.
Submission entries have to achieve a certain standard in terms of creativity and aesthetics to be considered for our TOP 36 shortlist.
