David Miller joins #mOOO2 competition jury panel
mOOO team is honoured to have David Miller on board for our #mOOO2 competition!
David has worked at the highest levels of design in both the UK and abroad and is passionate about progressive architecture, emerging technology, design and delivery excellence. Before setting up the practice in 2000, he worked in the offices of Norman Foster and Santiago Calatrava, then became an Associate Director of Future Systems, where he was Project Architect for the Stirling Prize-winning Media Centre at Lord’s Cricket Ground – which DMA have recently refurbished and enhanced.
His specialist design knowledge and delivery of complex buildings evolved into an interest in three dimensional analysis and modelling. This led him to develop the use of 3D software to enhance building design and the architectural team use this technology to search out delight and proportion in solutions to every-day problems. Under David’s leadership, DMA is acknowledged as a leader in the use of digital techniques. He has worked with numerous industry bodies supporting and encouraging BIM adoption including the Government’s BIM Task Group prior to the 2016 mandate throughout the construction industry. As a highly regarded architect with a reputation for embracing innovative new technology, David is a sought after speaker both at home and abroad where he shares the practice’s experience of how BIM delivers excellence in the built environment.
