
We are honoured to have Ms. Christine Choi joining #mOOO6 Jury Panel!
As a co-founder of JWCC Architecture established in Macau in 2010, the multidisciplinary studio has grown the team and expanded their works from small scale private residential works to hotels and public projects. With the wide rounded architectural experience across education, residential, heritage, and public projects, along with her Master of Commence specialised in Organisational Management provides Christine the expertise to co-lead the studio with a forward-thinking approach.
The studio has been recognized with different awards and recognitions as well as personal achievements recognitions for the co-founds Christine Choi and Jimmy Wardhana where both interests in the exploration of Architectural Culture and its associated social themes for the community, their Macau Patio research has won them first place and as the curator for the Macau Pavilion in the 7th Shenzhen and Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture 2017.
Outside the studio’s works, Christine continues her architecture learning journey through local and international architecture community engagements. Her active participation in ArcAsia and UIA provides her with the consistent information for the latest international profession knowledge and thinking approach, which builds her foundation to; Think Global and Act Local.
She aspires to continue promote the advancement of the Macau Architecture industry through knowledge sharing in all levels. Her contributions to the local profession were well recognized and was elected as the President of Board of Directors for AAM (Architects Association of Macau) for 2019-2021 and recently re-elected to continue her Presidency role for 2021-2023. She deeply appreciates the recognitions and put heavy focus on promoting architecture excellences and the importance on the roles of Architects.
Christine is a registered Architect with experience working in practices in Sydney Australia prior to her return to Macau in 2010.
